The Triangle L Ranch Bed and Breakfast, just north of Oracle, AZ, is full of art work on the grounds. In the spring, the iris’ add to the beauty. There are three private cottages restored and furnished with comfortable antiques.

Located north of Tucson, AZ, the town of Oracle was established in the 1880’s. It is at the foot of the Catalina Mountains, and usually gets snow during the winter.

Plaza Palomino has some great shops and restaurants. It is located at the corner of Swan and Ft Lowell.

It was a little cold outside, but the stores were warm and friendly. This fountain was covered in icicles and was beautiful with a trickle of water coming out of it. Bright and sunny today.

There is a great new exhibit at the Mini-Time Museum of Miniatures in Tucson, Arizona, Lagniappe Plantation Home. The detail is amazing.

Every room is wonderfully done. The attention to detail for the time period is a delight to see.

The word ‘lagniappe’ has the same meaning as getting a thirteenth doughnut when you ordered a dozen, like a ‘thank you’. This exhibit is sure to please you and you’ll get that ‘extra’ bit of delight when you see it.

Blacksmith Eric Grip is keeping the art of blacksmithing alive. His hand forged pieces are works of art and very unique. Creations include door and cabinet handles, lamps, lighting fixtures, forks, spoons, knives, fireplace tools and much more.

He is in Apache Junction, Arizona right now, but travels throughout the United States promoting the art. You may reach him through his website, Iron Grip Blacksmithing.

On his 1939 anvil he forges one of a kind items and is passionate about his work. It is shown by the beautiful pieces he creates.
